ConQuest Cases are manufactured using repeatable geometry best practices - incorporating parasolid modeling software, state-of-the-art CNC equipment and experienced craftsmen. ConQuest Cases will NOT warp, rot, blister or require frequent repairs – common ailments of traditional laminated plywood road cases.
Laminated plywood road cases have an extruded “U” shaped aluminum valance which is mitre-cut and riveted in place. These valance corners separate over time, causing lid / base misalignment issues. Impact’s proprietary high strength square tubular valance and corner lug system (patents pending) ensures that all ConQuest cases remains square with reinforced valance corners which will NOT split or separate over time.
Rotational moulded (roto-molded) cases and containers are semi-rigid - the case shell will flex under stress. What does this mean? Roto-molded cases tend to bow / sag when loaded with heavy components or if heavy loads are stacked on top. Roto-moulded case material fatigue is accelerated if the cases are subjected to elevated temperatures. The most common symptom of roto-molded case fatigue is base-lid misalignment – distortion which prevents the lid and base from properly mating. At very low temperatures, roto-moulded cases encounter a greater frequency of impact related fractures.
